1. Preparation stage

A warning line must be set up in the fumigation area, warning signs must be hung, and special supervision must be arranged. At least corresponding anti-virus devices, first-aid medicines, and equipment should be prepared.

2. Sealing stage

The doors, windows, ventilation holes, skylights, etc. of the fumigated warehouse must be tightly sealed, and a seal inspection must be carried out before fumigation to ensure that the sealing performance meets the requirements of sulfuryl fluoride fumigant.

3. Dosing stage

When injecting sulfuryl fluoride, it should be carried out in strict accordance with the order from downwind to upwind, from inside to outside, and from bottom to top, and use electronic scales or scales to accurately measure the dosage.

4. Dispersion stage

5. End stage

1. Sulfuryl fluoride: High doses of sulfuryl fluoride (≥20g/m3) shall not be used repeatedly in the same batch of grain

Sulfuryl fluoride accident emergency treatment process:

1. A fire broke out

When a fire breaks out in sulfuryl fluoride fumigant places, firefighters should not only wear positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus, but also wear chemical protective clothing against hydrofluoric acid, and rinse the sulfuryl fluoride steel cylinder with water.

2. Leakage occurs

In the event of a sulfuryl fluoride cylinder leak, the leaking cylinder should be disposed of after wearing protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus, and empty it into a mixed solution of alkali and slaked lime.

3. Inhalation of medicines

If someone accidentally inhales a large amount of sulfuryl fluoride fumigant, they should be transferred to a place with fresh air for bed rest in a timely manner, given oxygen inhalation if necessary, and kept warm.

4. The agent splashes on the skin or clothing

If you accidentally get sulfuryl fluoride on your skin or clothing, wash it with plenty of water immediately, and take off your clothes for thorough cleaning after the sulfuryl fluoride is completely vaporized.

5. Drug splashed into the eyes

If sulfuryl fluoride accidentally splashes into the eyes, open the upper and lower eyelids, rinse gently and slowly with tap water or clean water for 15-20 minutes, and then go to the hospital for further treatment.

6. Coma

If sulfuryl fluoride poisoning leads to coma, the fainted person should be evacuated from the scene in time, and let him lie on his side with his head slightly lower than his chest, and use phenobarbital in time to prevent convulsions and send him to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.
